At Holliston Pediatric Group, we want to recognize and support our patients’ mental health needs. Our Social Workers, Donna Jansky and Lindsey Forman, have a combined 50 years of experience working with children and families. As part of the HPG team they consult with the providers and medical staff about the most effective ways to provide clinical care to patient and families who may be experiencing difficulties.
Consultation Appointments:
Let your provider know if you have a concern about your child’s behavior, or their emotional or social health. You and your provider will talk about whether a consultation with Behavioral Health might be helpful. An initial consultation is typically available within 2 weeks.
What to Expect:
Initial assessments are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour and may include the parent/guardian, the child or both. At the conclusion of the meeting, the behavioral health provider will discuss options and make a recommendation regarding a treatment plan. The behavioral health provider will also share information with your pediatrician and update them as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Services Provided:
Our integrated behavioral health team offers developmental guidance, short term solution focused therapy, parenting support, referrals to community supports, CBT, play therapy, and consultation with schools or other providers as needed.
