Keeping Our Offices Safe For You And Your Child
We are continuing to see our patients in our offices for most visits. And, of course, we will see our newborns! We are seeing our well visits in exam rooms designated as “well visit only” rooms. We are seeing our sick patients, following appropriate protocols, in the rest of our exam rooms. All rooms are cleaned by our nurses in between each patient visit and, as usual, the rooms are cleaned thoroughly at night.
We are also conducting virtual visits via our Telehealth platform for patients/parents who are more comfortable visiting us virtually and if our triage nurse feels that your child should have a visit for an acute concern but, per our current screening protocol, they cannot come into our offices. This telehealth platform was set up for us by Boston Children’s Hospital. You will need to be registered on MyChart in order to have a virtual visit with us. Please see the instructions outlining how to sign up for MyChart on this website page under the Coronavirus heading, or please call our office for assistance. We are very excited to use this new technology to continue to care for your child during this pandemic!
We are your medical home. We know you and your child and we do not want you or your child to be exposed to potential infection at an urgent care center unless such a visit is necessary. So we will be available to you in this new way now!
Boston Children’s Hospital has put together some excellent information about coronavirus in children. Please visit their website at childrenshospital.org for more information from a trusted source! Additional information about coronavirus in Massachusetts can be found at the Department of Public Health website at Mass.gov.
Please utilize the following protocol for office visits:
Anyone 5 years and older must wear a mask when entering our office space and throughout their entire visit. You will be asked to change to a surgical mask if you are wearing a cloth mask (a surgical mask will be provided).

We, the providers and managers of HPG, are proud to say that we have not had any positive cases of COVID amongst our staff members.
